Updates to da blog
Tons of updating today, clearing out double posts from blogger import, renaming and fixing up the blogger posts that didn’t come through cleanly, and adding TONS of pics to make the blog more visually stimulating.
I like stimulation.
I installed the ImageManager plugin from soderlind.no. It’s buggy as hell, can’t use it with firefox because it gets cut off half way on the screen, but it’s workable with IE, and it’s better than the wordpress upload feature alone. It also can’t barf out the right numbers when I resize pics that are below it’s thumbnail threshold (96px). It’ll resize the thumbnail just fine, but the code that comes out creates retarded thumbnails. However, there’s an image editing feature with this plugin, and that’s a bonus. Doesn’t work with editing GIFs, though. Anyway, I’ve tried many image plugins for Wordpress, and most just don’t cut the mustard, but this one will do for now. Hopefully they’ll update it.

Another plugin I installed is the Link Indication Plugin for WordPress from sw-guide.de. I’ve been looking for something like this since forever. I only noticed it not work on one external link (the link to the sears.com dishwasher found in post Portable Dishwashers) and that’s not too bad. Kudos to the maker of the Link Indication Plugin. Now I can put links where I want and not have to tediously put in target=”_blank” every time it’s an outside link so it opens up in a new browser window. WHEW!
New links in the sidebar, too. Scope them out.
Anyway, new pics, updated posts, new plugins… I fuckin’ love Wordpress and its community.

Said this at 12:35pm:I usually do the whole built-in Wordpress image manager thing now, linking to anything else from within my site (like galleries, of which I currently have none).
I don’t know… I became an HTML 4 master, and I guess I couldn’t learn anything else after that. I ran out of Hard Drive space in my MIND, MAN! AHHHHHHHHH!
